AI for small businesses in Boulder, Colorado
You do not have to know what an AI agent should do
That is the part we work out. We look at how the work gets done today and write up where AI agents would pay off, or that they would not. If it is worth doing, we test it on one thing first, and build the rest only if that works.
What we would look at first in Boulder
On one Boulder street you will find a roofing company, a CPA, a design studio and a veterinary hospital. Four businesses, four completely different Tuesdays, and the same hour disappearing into handling that nobody was hired to do.
We are not a fit for one kind of business here and not another. What we need is a real workflow, information your team already uses, and handling worth taking off somebody.
What it turns into
It is specific to your business, which is why we look first. Around here that might be:
a design studio where the brief, the revisions and the invoice each arrive somewhere different, and somebody re-types them into the third place
a veterinary practice where the refill request and the vaccination reminder stop being two phone calls
a CPA whose January is mostly asking eleven people for the same document a second time
a roofing company that finds out about Tuesday's enquiry on Thursday, because Tuesday was spent on a roof
None of these began as a decision to look at AI. Each began as an hour that kept going somewhere nobody had chosen to send it.
Why the mix here changes the answer
A system built for a dental practice does not help a landscaper, and most of what is sold as small-business AI is built for neither — it assumes an office, a desk, and somebody free to operate it. Boulder does not have one kind of business, so there is no one kind of answer. What we do instead is look at your week and find the handling that repeats, which is a different question from what industry you are in and a better predictor of what an agent can take.
Where to start
Tell us what ate the most time last week. If there is something worth building we will say what it is and how we would test it. If we cannot see anything worth building, we will say that too.
